Whirling Wool
N Alpaca

"I love to spin and knit and am committed to providing products that are produced in a way that protects the environment. Whenever possible, I buy yarns for my knitting that are made in the United States. My hand spun yarn is made from fleece purchased directly from American farmers or wool brokers. It is spun in a log cabin in the redwood forest.

I use professional acid dyes on my hand painted yarn. It is then dried in the sun and fresh air on my property. "

Gourd Art
By Cyndee

"A gourd starts as a little seed, growing on a vine in a community of other gourds. The vine dies and the gourd matures and leaves the vine. The lowly gourd, misshapen and covered with dirt and mold, miraculously transforms into something beautiful and useful."
                                    - Cyndee Newick

Catskills Design

"Creating new things has always been a passion. Reusing anything in a new way gives it a second life and prevents one more thing from ending up in a landfill.

As for my art, it is simply a way of appreciating this amazing planet we live on and the diverse creatures living with us. I hope it inspires people to get out there and experience it."

"I have been an artist for decades, I painted and made jewelry from polymer clay, but it wasn't until about 9 years ago that I discovered "my" medium, metal clay. This new product called Precious Metal Clay is Eco Friendly and made from about 90% microscopic particles of recycled silver, an organic binder and water."
