WHAT: Continuing its efforts to support the local art & creative community, SF Etsy sellers will gather at The Marker, a luxury boutique Joie de Vivre hotel, located in the heart of San Francisco’s Theater District, on May 2nd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to showcase an array of artisan goods.
Grab your limited ticket for one of the mini make-over slots by the talented Christina Choi of Christina Choi Cosmetics. Each make-over will be 20 minutes and complimentary via the patronage of the SF Etsy Street Team.

The shopping area will feature several local sellers for guests and visitors to purchase beautiful handcrafted and designed goods, the SF Etsy Pop-up Event will take place in The Marker’s stunning Beaux Arts-style lobby area, where visitors can mingle with the artists. Grab your ticket for a mini make-over with local make up stylist Christina Choi - limited tickets available!

Celebrate San Francisco’s vibrant artistic communities, including those in the Tenderloin and Union Square, at a special pop-up event held by SF Etsy and The Marker Hotel on Thursday, May 2, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., coinciding with the popular First Thursday Art Walk that occurs monthly in the Lower Polk and Tenderloin neighborhoods. Enjoy complimentary admission as well as wine and snacks from the hotel’s noted Tratto restaurant while exploring a range of the area’s artists, jewelry makers, cosmetic lines, knitwear and more.

Selected directly by the SF Etsy Street Team based on uniqueness and quality of work – and timed for Mother’s Day shopping – highlights of the Etsy Marketplace at The Marker include: vibrant artwork from Jennifer Clifford that takes its cues from collage, colorful textiles and wallpapers; the new beauty line from Christina Choi Cosmetics created for a wide range of skin tones and eye shapes to expertly define facial features; handcrafted and custom jewelry from Covet that is inspired by designer and owner Adrienne Wiley’s travels.

Additionally, Christina Choi herself will also provide mini makeovers featuring her new beauty line. Each makeover will be 20 minutes long and complimentary via the patronage of the SF Etsy Street Team. Pre-register for the makeover to reserve your spot today. The marketplace itself is complimentary and not ticketed.

SF Etsy partnered with the newly renovated Marker for this special event due to the property’s commitment to local artists, including its rotating art exhibit curated by Jacqueline McGee and SFMOMA Artists Gallery. SF Etsy is a collection of more than 2,200 Etsy sellers in the San Francisco Bay Area, which strives to support its community through hosting local shows and events.

Following the event, guests are invited to experience the hotel’s bar-driven modern Italian Tratto restaurant. A complimentary glass of house wine is included with the purchase of an appetizer selected from the new spring menu featuring Beef and ricotta meatballs with white polenta and tomato sugo; Baby Octopus with popcorn polenta, chili oil and gremolata; and Crispy pork belly with onion jam, oven-dried tomato, saba, vinaigrette and herb salad; among other specialties.

    Welcome to SF Etsy

We're a collective of over 2700 Etsy sellers in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The SF Etsy Street Team is 100% in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

We condemn the violent acts, murders, crimes, and police brutality inflicted on the BIPOC community. These terrible and senseless acts must come to an end!

As a team, we will continue to share and raise awareness for our community of artists, specifically, black, indigenous, and people of color.

We urge you to make a purchase from a BIPOC artist, maker, dreamer and small business owner.

    ---------------------------
Like the San Francisco Bay Area in which it is located, SF Etsy is a vibrant and diverse community, full of creativity.

We strive to support and promote local Etsy sellers by sharing expertise and advice, hosting local shows and events, and providing a valuable network of local talent and resources.
